Birthday Princess....

It's Finally Time for an Update!!!!

Carly turned one about a month ago! She's growing up so fast! I cannot believe it's been one whole year!!! She is walking and talking - She says Duck, Dog, Mama, Da (daddy), Jack, up, That. What else...She dances, she loves to dance. When music starts...she just starts moving!!! We watch So You Think You Can Dance and she boogies the whole time! Carly has 7 teeth.

This picture is from my Aunt Di's wedding about two months ago. She and her cousin Mady rode in a wagon and threw flower petals. They were the cutest flower girls ever!!!

And this one...is self explanatory!! This is the only cabinet Carly can play in at Todd's Mom's house. It's hers, and she likes to crawl inside and play!

Carly's 9 Month Check Up!

Carly Beth had her 9 month Check Up this morning! She is 29 3/4 inches tall - that's the 97th percentile!!! She also weighs 20 lbs 8 ounces which is the 75th percentile. I can't believe how big she is!!! The doctor checked her teeth and said to be expecting a new one pretty soon.

Carly is really getting around now. She's crawling and pulling up. She's exploring everything.

Updates....

It's time for a serious update!!! I'm going to try to do this more often, life has just been busy!
Carly is 9 months old now. I can't believe it. She's such a big girl!!! Carly is eating table food and crawling and standing up. She's learned a lot since Christmas time. She can say Dada and Hey. She can wave. She'll wave at you when you walk in the room, and when she's leaving the room. It's pretty cute.

She has her ears pierced now. A doctor did it...and it was completely painless....atleast for her. The doctor numbed her ears and voila! She's way cute with her ears pierced!!




A couple of weeks ago when it was warm, we were able to get in Todd's Mom's Pool. Carly LOVED it!! She would just swim away in her float!! When she was out of the float, she acted as if she wanted to just swim away. Maybe this summer we'll teach her how to swim.

Carly's First Christmas

Carly Beth's First Christmas was quite an event!!

Here she is with a gift she got from her Papaw Jim (aka Big Daddy) and Mamaw Ruth. She loves it! It's like the Price is Right Wheel but it makes animal sounds!

Here is Carly on her Alphabet Train. This is a way cool toy, and very educational!! She got it from her Granna and Papa! We've yet to really test out the wheels on it...but Carly enjoys the blocks.

Here is Carly and Jack on Christmas Morning. Santa was really good to both of them! Carly got some books, and much needed clothes, while Jack got some treats that are Apple and Peanut Butter Twists....and some chew toys.

On Christmas Day, we had all Carly's Grandparents over for dinner - yes, all four sets! We had Low Country Boil - Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn on the cob, and Sausage - and we just poured it out on the table! We had a communal dinner...I bet Jesus did that once or twice in His day.

Carly's First Christmas was very busy, but it was such a great time. It was such a blessing to spend time with our families...even if some visits had to be cut short because of "over lapping events". We are so thankful and so very blessed.
